The Day the World Stopped

January 22, 2011 my life changed. My family was in a car accident. My husband and I lost our 2 son's. They were our world. At the memorial service I asked a friend to take some pictures. She did a wonderful job. With the photo's she created a slide show. I'm posting it here, so our friends and family who were not able to attend the service can see . . . .

  2. My heart can only break with yours, filled with grief and sorrow for the loss of your precious sons. I pray, and will pray, that you will continually cast this unbearable burden on the Lord, who alone is the One who can help you live on, moment by moment. I don't believe God takes our children. It was not His doing. It's this fallen world, where life is threatened on all sides. I will be trusting Him to break through to you with the comfort that only He can bring - through those with whom He surrounds you, as well as sovereignly, supernaturally. I also pray He would bless you with a real sense of your boys' utter well-being with Jesus, and the knowledge that, as they live on with Him, they also know and feel your love and expect to see you in what, to them, will seem like the twinkling of an eye. They ARE well. I pray for wellness in your hearts, in time.

  3. Dear Teresa & Lenny,
My heart breaks for you and all of your extended family. We know only too well what the loss of one of our children has done to us...I cannot even try to imagine losing them both in a single moment of time.
You are constantly on my mind and in my prayers...wishing I could have come up with my husband to the service for your beautiful boys, but his work schedule would not permit it. Thank you for sharing this beautiful slide-show with those of us who could not be there in person.
Sending you love and a hug and many prayers your way.
Love, Susan & Matt Reynolds (from Phellos)
