Dawson

I was finally able to get some new pictures of Dawson. He's a lot harder to take pictures of. Devin's easier, he likes to go out and "play" with me. He always has a ready smile. Dawson however is a much more serious child. He's not as willing to interrupt his life so his mom can take pictures. However today, he let me snap off a couple of shots, before he lost interest. Look I even got one of him smiling! :)

Afternoon with Devin

The other day I talked Devin into letting me take some pictures of him. All it cost me was a bag of skittles and letting him take some pictures of me. Oh yeah! I've been trying some new editing techniques and so I thought I'd share the results. There are quite a few pictures. Some of the photo's are duplicates because they have a different editing technique applied. If you're really dedicated and go through all the photo's of Devin you'll see a couple of the shots he took of me. And, if you have any opinions on the different photo's I'd love to hear. A Trip to the Tulip Fields

I had the opportunity to visit the Wooden Shoe Tulip Fields, near where I live, twice this month. Both times I was able to borrow lenses that I do not have. I had a lot of fun getting up close to the flowers. To bad the wind was blowing as much as it was. Most of my super close shot's didn't turn out. But I thought I'd share what I did get. Enjoy! :)

My First Sale!!!

Today I sold my first 2 pictures. I went to the dentist yesterday to get a cavity filled. They had just finished painting their offices. So I worked up the courage and asked if they would like to purchase some new pictures for their walls. The dentist's wife (who also runs the front desk) was very excited. So I came back today with my portfolio. She picked out 2 pictures that will go with the new color scheme. It's very exciting!!! It was totally worth having a cavity!!
